Good evening teacher and classmates, today I am going to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of technology

today.
Technology has had a profound impact on society. It has enabled a series of changes in everyday life, because it
transforms its natural and artificial state. The fundamental role of technology lies in the impact it generates in society.
this process is called technological breakthrough. On the one hand, technology has enabled significant improvements
in healthcare, transportation, communications and other areas.
Honestly, technology is no longer important, it is necessary. The world has become so dependent on it that it has
become addictive. Everything around us is technology, from a watch, a calculator to automobiles, airplanes,
computers, mobile gadgets, and more.
Nowadays technology has had an impact that has affected both positively and negatively in our society, so for us it is
indispensable, as we are used to a way of life where technology is the protagonist of our social environment.
-The advantages of technology are quick access to information, which is undoubtedly one of the greatest advantages
of technology, as currently approximately 4.5 million searches are performed per minute on Google, it is such an
impressive figure that demonstrates the enormous thirst for knowledge that exists. it can be satisfied through
smartphones, as they allow us to access the Internet from anywhere.
-the second advantage is that it facilitates learning for students around the world, easy access to education through
the network allows anyone to be trained in any subject without leaving home.
-Something important is that it breaks the barrier of distance, the way we communicate is something undeniable. We
can communicate at any time and from anywhere in the world, regardless of the time of day. For example, during the
lockdown experienced during covid-19, which was a pandemic, we were able to communicate without leaving home.
-The last advantage is to simplify tasks, since technology is the one who transforms heavy or complex tasks into light
or simple ones. In recent years, artificial intelligence has further simplified tasks, making our daily lives easier. A simple
example is robot vacuum cleaners, capable of taking care of the cleaning of our home, and cutting-edge technology
such as 3D printing.
+On the other hand, the main disadvantages are that technology generates dependence; many people have problems
of dependence with technologies as they become addicted or run the risk of becoming "hooked" to the phone.
Therefore, using technology correctly is essential to fully enjoy its advantages.
+Dehumanization is another disadvantage of technology, since its misuse can generate inconveniences and foster
social isolation. A clear example is when we go out with our family or friends, we are more aware of the cell phone, it
is illogical to go out and pretend we are alone and aware of the technology than to spend time with them and share
moments.
+Lastly, a disadvantage is the lack of security on the network and the exposure of personal data. We are all exposed
to the dangers that exist on the Internet, since, even if we take measures, we can be victims of data theft or fraud that
can cause us great economic losses.
Finally, in my opinion, although having access to technology has allowed us to evolve and simplify our daily lives, we
must not forget to use it wisely and be careful with the information we share.
