Bubuyan Elementary School held its World Thinking Day ceremony on February 22, 2024 with the theme "Our World, Our Thriving Future". The ceremony started with singing and forming a horseshoe formation. There were five speakers including the school head who lit the starting candle. Patrol leaders spoke on the importance of celebrating Thinking Day and bringing Girl Scouts together from around the world.

WORLD THINKING DAY


As stated in NHQ Circular No. 1 series
2024 regarding World Thinking Day,
with the theme: “Our World, Our
Thriving Future”, February 22 is a very
special time for every Girl Guide and
Girl Scout across the world, as it marks
the celebration of the World Thinking
Day.
The aim of Thinking Day is to bring
together young people from across the
world – nearly 150 countries choose to
take part in the celebrations – to
celebrate international fun and
friendship, as well as to help raise money
and focus on the year's global theme.

Bubuyan Elementary School


conducted the Thinking Day
Ceremony last February 22, 2024 . It
started with the singing of The
Thinking Day Song while forming a
horseshoe formation.
There were five speakers presided by
our School Head, Ma’am Marites F.
Manigbas as the first speaker and she
lighted the candle to start the
ceremony. It was followed by the
singing of Girl Scouts Together then
the narration of the other speakers.
Patrol leaders also narrated why this
Thinking Day is being celebrated.
