Taylor Alison Swift or known as Taylor Swift is an American singer-songwriter.


Taylor Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. When she was nine
years old the family moved to Wyomissing, PA, where she attended West Reading
Elementary Center and Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School.

Taylor signed with Big Machine Records in 2005 to become a country singer. Taylor
released her debut album, “Taylor Swift”, in October of 2006 and received generally positive
reviews from music critics. Taylor’s fourth studio album, “Red”, was released on October 22,
2012. The album's lead single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". The song
became Taylor’s first #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, recording the highest ever one-
week sales figures for a female artist.

Music-wise, Taylor has broken many records. Last August, she became the first
female musician in Spotify history to reach 100 million monthly listeners. Taylor has
achieved 12 number one albums on Billboard, the most by a female artist. On November 29,
2023, Taylor Swift released a single entitled “You’re Losing Me (From The Vault)”
