Explain the writing process steps:


*Abstract - Purpose of writing. *Pre-writing - Collecting ideas and information. *Outline - Writing
framework and aligning the content. *Draft - Putting your ideas into sentences, forming sentences and
paragraphs. *Review - Revising the body for final delivery.

List and explain the components of professional writing at the workplace:


*Clarity in deliverance - Giving clarity on the message being conveyed/delivered. *Precision and
accuracy in word building - Avoiding grammatical errors. Forming proper sentence structures and
choice of words. *Professional format - Adhering to the guidelines from the organization/workplace.
*Awareness about your target audience - Content formulation. *Proof reading - Reviewing/quality
control.

Differentiate between oral and written communication:


*Oral communication focuses on way of expressing through body language, tone of speech whereas
writing communication emphasizes on empirical driven data, facts and discussions. *Oral
communication can be interpreted as informal whereas writing can be considered professional. *Unlike
oral communication, written communication is a recorded medium. *Whereas oral communication can
garner an instantaneous response, written communication provides an opportunity to go through the
document carefully while reviewing and analyzing before providing feedbacks. *Oral communications
can be conducted via phone calls and video conferencing, whereas written communications happen by
means of emails, text messages and reports,

on the target audience. Enables user to communicate in real time. Opportunities of collaborating with
