A. Introduction and Warm-up 30 mins  Singing an alphabet song
 Showing a video clip about the
importance of reading
 Asking questions about the video
B. Concept Exploration 30 mins Activity:
 Read aloud as a class
Instructions:
Pass around of ball or stuffed animal to
indicate the next reader.
C. Valuing 30 mins Activity:
 Partner reading
During partner reading each student will get
more time to practice their skills and being
corrected privately by one friend maybe
better for a struggling readers confidence.
Journal Writing 30 mins Activity:
Reflection about the story
