CAN C1 BUS DRIVE TRAIN CONTROL MODULE (DTCM) ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE, Always perform the PRE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE before proceeding. (Rafarto 28: jased Diagnostics/Standard Procedure) Diagnostic Test 1, TEST FOR POOR CONNECTIONS OR INTERMITTENT CONDITIONS Tur the ignition on. With the scan tool, generate and record the Vehicle Scan Report. With the scan tool, erase DTCs from Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module. Tur the ignition off. heN Wait for 10 seconds. ‘Tum the ignition on, Start the engine. Refer to the Wiring Information and check all related connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, bent or not correctly fitted connectors and proper pin voltage. If no problem is found, the test is complete. Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/Standard Procedure) 2. CHECK FOR ACTIVE DRIVETRAIN CONTROL MODULE (DTCM) DTCs 1, With the scan tool, read DTCs from Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM). Is there any problem? Yes ‘+ Repair all DTCs from Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM). No + Goto3 3, VERIFY THE LOSS OF COMMUNICATION WITH DRIVETRAIN CONTROL MODULE (DTCM) 1, Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM DTCM((Refer to 29 - Non-DTC Diagnostics/Standard Procedure) . Is there any problem? Yos + Repair as needed * Gotod 4, CHECK ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE HARNESS CONNECTIONS Disconnect all harness connectors of the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module hamess. Disconnect all related in-line hamess connectors (if equipped). Repair any damage found on step 4 Reconnect all Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module harness connectors. Make sure all the connectors are fully seated and the connector locks are fully engaged. 7, Reconnect all the in-line harness connectors (if equipped).
