Drug
The drug word is derived from the french word ‘drogue’
which meaning a dry herb
The drug is explain in aphorism 19,23,105 and 116 in
organon of medicine by dr. Hahnemann

Definition;-

Any substance that ,when taken into living organism may


modify one or more of its function
Or
Drug is therapeutic agent which are prepared according to
the rules and regulation of pharmacopeia which is capable of
affecting sensation ,function and structural change and even
cause of death
Or
A drug is any material agent which ingestion in living body
which capable of disturbing the balance of vital force and
produces abnormal symptom

Types of drugs
1.mother tincture
It is drug pharmaceutically prepared from the drug substance
of vegetable and animal kingdom using strong alcohol or
water

2.mother solution
It is drug pharmaceutically prepared from the drug substance
of mineral and chemical source using strong alcohol or water

3.Mother substances
It is drug pharmaceutically prepared from the drug substance
of any source which is insoluble in liquid vehicle
They are prepared in sugar of milk by trituration

Medicine

Definition
When a drug has been potentized homeopathically and
proved on healthy human being in both sex (male and
female),all age ,and different constitution ( thin and obese )
