Duty For QC-Assembly

The document provides a summary of quality control inspection and testing procedures for an offshore oil and gas assembly (QC Assembly). It outlines five key areas: 1) Dimensional inspections using CMM to check parts meet engineering specifications. 2) Visual inspections of parts, seals, coatings, labels, and connections. 3) General checks of bolting, tags, certificates and outstanding issues. 4) Witnessing or monitoring testing including SUT, FAT, EFAT and SIT. 5) Component level testing of items like PWV, ITC, tubing hangers and AWV. The inspections and tests are designed to verify parts and assemblies meet requirements before shipment.

2) Visual Inspection.
- Pre-Shipment inspection (Pre Shipment Check List) X-TREE, Tubing Hanger, ITC ect.
- Inspect ID bore sealing, landing ring Before & After during SIT activity.
- Verify visible items required per BOM & drawing for finish part.
- Inspect seal area (Ring groove, VT/VX) before & after SUT/FAT & SIT.
- Witness Bore protector installs (required certain project)
- Verify identification/ stenciling per TOP-LEVEL information per BOM & Drawing.
- confirm part compliance with all flag note on SK drawing.
- Verify part has been painted/ stencil as per drawing and approve by certify Coating Inspector.
- Visually inspect Anode for any damage before shipment.
- Visually inspect wire locking shall comply as per procedure & requirement.
- Verify Lifting Cap for X-Tree condition & valid load test certification.
- Visually inspect all bolting are fastened.
- Visually inspect hydra quad SCMMB before & after install at X-Tree.
- Visually inspect all hydraulic plumbing line and ensure no visible damage.
- Visually inspect harness/electrical jumper lanyard per procedure & requirement.
- Visually Inspect Top & bottom AX and seal areas acceptable per requirement.
- Visually to ensure harnesses are protected when running over edges from abrasion with
- Visually verify ROV interfaces for Override Tools are correctly orientated as applicable.

3) General.
- Perform ROV jig Test after ROV install at X-TREE.
- Perform Tree balancing check per FAT procedure.
- Verify Tree weight.
- Verify Tree connector is unlocked/Lock (Base on procedure).
- Verify torque record data sheet & sign off.
- Perform surveillances check list for tree build.
- Follow-up any related NCR under Quality bucket.
- Inspect together with TPI/customer per above inspection.
- Verify all valve indication (orientation) shut & open position as per procedure.
- Apply/stamp API monogram once approval from QA.
- Check all cathodic protection grounding straps are looped correctly and hardware fasteners
are properly secured.
- Verify that all outstanding NCR had been closed.
QC Assembly-

- Verify all nuts/bolts and fasteners are tightened to required torque.

- Verify any Load testing (if applicable) is completed, with appropriate certification provided.
- Check Top Level and Single Unit Assemblies that API monograms on the following items
- Check name plate stamping, top level/single unit assemblies, revision, etc. meets BOM via
SAP.
- Inspect electrical cables, check that they are correctly routed & secured.
- Inspect Pipe work & brackets to check for rigidity,
- Inspect Rota Bolts are still tight using Thumb and Forefinger.
- Check BOM & drawing for Earth strap requirements ensure that these are fitted and secured
as direction.
- Verify line Tag for tubing as per BOM & Drawing.
- Verify connector lock ring for any contamination.
