4. Purpose
The purpose of the project is to analyze the functioning of school as well as knowing the
problems the parents/teachers/students deal with and acknowledge them with primary
solutions for temporary problems and let them know their rights .
5. Objectives
The objective of the project is to understand how exactly the organization is working and to
know the functionalities of the organization and how well people there interact with each
other and organize their work together .
∙ Introduction
Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) is a type of state-run secondary school in India. These
schools are established, supervised, and funded by the District Councils of India .ZP High Schools
provide education for students from grades 6-10 of the Secondary School Certificate.
∙ Background -
ZPHS NIZAMPET was established in 2004 and it is managed by the Local body. It is located in Rural area.
It is located in QUTHBULLAPUR block of RANGA REDDY district of Telangana. The school consists of
Grades from 6 to 10. The school is Co-educational and it doesn't have an attached pre-primary section. The
school is Not Applicable in nature and is not using the school building as a shift-school. Telugu is the
medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school
academic session starts in April.
The school has a Government building. It has got 8 classrooms for instructional purposes. All the
classrooms are in good condition. It has 2 other rooms for non-teaching activities. The school has a separate
room for Head master/Teacher. The school has Partial boundary wall. The school has an electric connection.
The source of Drinking Water in the school is Tap Water and it is functional. The school has 3 boys toilets
and it is functional. and 6 girls toilets and it is functional. The school has a playground. The school has a
library and has 450 books in its library. The school does not need a ramp for disabled children to access
classrooms. The school has 10 computers for teaching and learning purposes and all are functional. The
school does not have a computer aided learning lab. The school is Provided and Prepared in School
Premises providing mid-day meals.
b. Planed my work.
I made a list of questions that I have to ask the students and faculty and took all the required
permissions to interact with students and faculty by the headmaster. During the project I took
3 basic steps: observing, recording, and analyzing. After observing all the facilities in the
school for a while I started interacting with students and took all the details then interacted
with the faculty .
After asking different types of questions based on food, water, studies etc. I came to know
about there facilities like food, water, timings, medical facilities, sports, trips, books,
competitions and different donations
From The overall observations I understood that the facilities in the zphs are good enough
that the sanitization is poor and the awareness in students about the sanitization is not very
good .
The food facilities are good but the problem is money all the time.students have good sports
facilities and wide open ground to play around. The medical facilities are appreciable as well
There is separate room for medical facilities and donations/fundings from different companies
like reddy's lab,avance,international tech park etc.and there are a total of 700 students
managed by 21 staff members with a perfect schedule and effective classrooms .
The next step is to acknowledge them about the importance of sanitisation (in these times of
covid-19 when sanitisation is the most important thing)this school lacks this important factor .
bringing them minimum awareness about the importance of sanitisation is must and their
rights of proper and privileged education is also important.
CASE STUDY 1 :
After the interaction with the students i personally meet a student named ramu and he said that
all the facilities are good except the lunch ,he told me that they did not have proper lunch after
the pandemic situation. so I explained him about his right to question for good food and also
explained him that since pandemic has given us a rough time I told him to understand the
situation as well.
CASE STUDY 2 :
I met a teacher/ faculty that worked there for 10 years named lakshmi .she was incharge for the
classes 8th and 9th and also cooks food for the children she explained me that the government
never pay the food amount properly and always delayed the payment because of which the
students are facing issues with lunch. i explained her how she can report this matter to higher
authorities and primary steps to complain about the delay of payment
CASE STUDY 3 :
I met the respective sports teacher nirmala .she gave the details about the sports being
conducted weekly twice with good facilities and two students being qualified in higher
national competitions .and she complained about sports facilities being less but manageable .

9. Conclusions
By my observation on the zphs i hereby conclude that the school has good primary facilities
like food and water but lacks in other facilities like sanitisation and sports . the education
inhere has good standards and students are maintaining discipline and the schedule is very
well managed by the faculty and the headmaster . i think the students should be more
acknowledged about the sanitisation importance and food requirements because students can
perform well only when they have good enough facilities
