Mean Median Mode of Grouped Data

The document provides an example of calculating the mean, median, and mode of the heights of 40 students in Grade 10 using a frequency distribution table. The table is populated with data on the number of students (frequency), height ranges (class limits), assumed height values (x), products of frequency and assumed height (fx), and cumulative frequencies (cf). The mean, median, and mode are then calculated using this grouped data in the frequency distribution table.

Mean, Median, and Mode of

Grouped Data
Data which are arranged into a frequency distribution are called grouped data. When the
number of elements is too large, it is best to compute for the measure of central tendency
and variability using the frequency distribution.
