NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE SLAC ON ACCOMPLISHING E-SAT

Electronic Self-Assessment tool helps reflect on the different objectives related to


professional work. The result of this will guide teachers on which RPMS indicators one must
improve and the areas where one needs coaching and mentoring.
Self-assessment helps teachers create critical reflective practice in their own actions. It
strengthens teachers’ own responsibility over their work and increase control and ownership on
their own professional development.
On November 4, 2022, at 3:30 in the afternoon, a small group discussion and hands-on
activity on accomplishing the E-SAT was held in the grade 4 classroom. It was attended by the
teachers and school head. It was led by Ma’am Analyn and Ma’am Sherlyn as discussant and
workshop leader. They guide the teachers through a step-by-step approach in accomplishing the
tool.
The purpose of the activity was to guide the teachers in accomplishing their E-SAT to be
consolidated by the ICT Coordinator. The result of the assessment will then be used to identify
areas for improvement and to provide them with knowledge and skills they needed.
