Elven Encounters
1. Elves by and large are just like you and I. But sometimes,
when the harvest moon rides high, they can be seen

towards the forest of Helmsby. Why do they go? Who
knows, and as my brothers swollen lip can contest, they
don’t take kindly to questions.

2. Andorian, the Elven Record keeper, is asking the characters

about their lineage and ancestors, and displaying a writ
from the King that demands compliance. They say they are
just recording the histories of the Kingdom, but those two
brutish guards and what appears to be a Blight Catcher
indicates that they might be looking for something
sinister…

3. Falarien, the elven master of music, has come to

Fesselburg! Rumour has it that his songs are so magical
and amazing, that they seem to come to life when he sings
them, and those who listen fall into a revelry. It seems at
the end of the performance that their purses are somewhat
lighter than remembered as well…

4
46
4. Travellers speak of a mysterious place near the mountains,
a set of ruins older than memory. In the ruins there is an
ancient well, untouched by time. Every night, the elven
woman sits near it and braids her silver hair, apparently
waiting for something or someone. But with the first light
of dawn, she disappears. What does she want, and is there a
reward?

group of respected elven astrologers. They want to build

that the current observatory tower, the Spike, is simply too
low to the ground to be free of earthly magical emanations.
The Dean looks favourably on the proposition, but not
everyone in the capital is happy with the idea of a new
tower, and someone if thinking of taking drastic action…

7. Elven Hunters invite daredevils to join them in Hunting an

ancient beast and ancestral enemy of this elven

abducted from a passing merchant’s caravan, strapped to
the back of a donkey.

8. An elf riding a red stag is looking to purchase names. He is

accompanied by a number of elven maidens as many as the
player characters, each clutching a black oak stake. The

marking) per syllable. A character that sells their name
would be wise to choose another and forget the old one.

9. An elven family is being sued for the third time by the

scions of a human noble family for a crime they committed
300 years ago. Apparently, they stole the ancestral shield of
the family many years ago, and promptly forgot about it.

what will it do?

17. It was inevitable. The taint of men has corrupted the land.

but this celebratory attitude is rarely shared by the
restaurant workers in the community who hate her
pretentious ways. Things could get out of hand…

20. The Pale Elf has returned. Feared and adored in many a
tale for elven children, they are either bringer of peace or
