CIRCULAR TO PARENTS (Grades KG to 11) 5th March 2024

Subject: End of Term Academic Year 2023-24


Dear Parents,

As we come to the end of this Academic Year, we thank you for your support and cooperation. Please find below the
details regarding the end of the term for AY 2023-24.

1. End of Academic Term

• Students of Grades 1- 9 & 11 will get corrected answer scripts on Monday, 11th March & Tuesday,
12th March 2024.
• Wednesday, 13th March 2024 onwards will be non-instructional working days for students of Grades 1 to
8.
• The last working days are as follows:

➢ KG 1 and KG 2 : Friday, 15th March 2024


➢ Grades 1 – 8 : Tuesday, 12th March 2024
➢ Grades 9 & 11 : Wednesday, 20th March 2024

2. Bridge Classes to Grades 10 & 12 (Academic Year 2024-2025) – (current Grades 9 and 11)

• Bridge classes to Grades 10 & 12 (AY 2024-2025) will commence from Tuesday, 5th March (Grade 9) &
Wednesday, 6th March (Grade 11) to Wednesday, 20th March 2024.
• Portions for Grades 10 and 12 will be covered during these classes and only revision of these topics will
be conducted later, as required. Hence it is expected that all students will attend these classes.

3. Open House

Grades KG to 6 : 20.03.2024 (Wednesday) : 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Grades 7 to 9 & 11 : 21.03.2024 (Thursday) : 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Details of the Open House will be shared through another circular at a later date. Reports will be released a day
prior to the Open House.

4. Important Reminder: School Fees

Kindly note that all school fees up to and including the fees for the month of March 2024 and the bus fees
should be paid by Monday, 11th March 2024. Annual Examination results will be withheld if a student has any
outstanding dues.

Note: If all fee dues are not cleared for the current Academic Year in March 2024, then the student’s name will
not appear in the name list of the new Academic Year (2024-2025). He will not be allowed to attend classes in
the new Academic Session as approved by the local regulatory authorities.

5. Books and Uniform Sale

• For the Academic Year 2024-2025 parents can purchase the books “ONLY THROUGH ONLINE” portal, using
the GEMS parent portal with your existing VLE access details. Details on the sale of books will be
communicated through a separate circular.

• Details regarding the sale of uniforms have been shared with you through Principal’s circular dated
1st February 2024. Appointments can be booked on Threads website https://www.threadsme.com

6. New Academic Session 2024 -2025

The new Academic Session for students of KG 2 and Grades 1 to 12 will commence on Monday, 1st April 2024.
