HACKCORRUPTION

ORIENTATION PACK
HACKATHON
MALAYSIA, FEBRUARY 2024

ORIENTATION WELCOME!
PACK Dear HackCorruption Participant,

We are delighted to welcome you to this project, and to this community. A

few weeks ago we received around 200 fantastic applications from coders,
activists, and civil society practitioners who are motivated to use their skills
and expertise to tackle a challenge that is all too common in our countries:
corruption. As we kick start this process, we are excited about the 55
individuals who were selected to participate, because we know that you are
driven to grapple with and find solutions to critical challenges.

We hope you see this as more than just an event but rather the start of a
new community of change-makers who can collaborate, support each
other, and inspire others to push for change.

As you prepare to participate, this document should give you the most
important information to navigate our Hackathon.

We look forward to welcoming you to the in-person Hackathon, which will

take place from 22 to 25 February at Hotel Parkroyal in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.
