Quick Start - LogPlot 7, Network User

Obtaining the Certicate File The network version of LogPlot requires installation of a certicate le that is supplied separately. Contact RockWare at 800-775-6745, or visit us at www.rockware.com/unlock.html, with your registration number (shown on the User Manual, CD, and registration card, and usually printed on your sales receipt) and the email address of the person who will be in charge of installing the software. Well verify your purchase records and email him/her the certicate le. See below for details. Installing the Certicate File 1. Save the certicate le, described above, into a folder on the server to which all clients have read and write access. Once the certicate le is saved into this folder, it must not be copied or moved. 7. 8.

Browse to the location of the Certicate File, as described above, under Installing LogPlot 7. Click the Continue button. Into the Default User ID prompt, type in your name or other unique identifying string. The ID string is limited to 20 characters, including spaces. Your ID will be stored in the certicate le while you are using the program. When you exit LogPlot using the File / Exit command, your ID will be logged out of the certicate le. The certicate le will allow a specic number of unique users to log in at a time; if you purchased a 5-seat license, then 5 unique IDs are allowed to be logged in at any one time. Click OK to continue.
