This document compares the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) of Indian states and union territories from 2018-19 to 2019-20. It shows that:
1) Sikkim had the largest increase in GER from 2018-19 to 2019-20, with increases of 29.6% for males, 13.7% for females, and 21.9% overall.
2) Overall GER increased slightly across India from 26.3% in 2018-19 to 27.1% in 2019-20.
3) Most states saw increases in GER from 2018-19 to 2019-20 for both males and females, though a few saw decreases, such as Andaman and Nicobar
