San Emmanuel, City of Tacurong
Content Standard: Demonstrates understanding of key concepts of
geometry of shapes and sizes, and geometric
relationship
Performance Standard: Is able to create models of plane figures and
formulate and solve accurately authentic problems
involving sides and angles of polygon.
Learning Competency: The learners will be able to derives relationships of
geometric figure using measurements and by
inductive reasoning; vertical lines and perpendicular
angles,
Code: M7GE-IIIb-1
I. Objectives At the end of the lesson, at least 75% of the students
can be able to:
a. classify different kinds of angles;
b. demonstrate proficiency in performing the
three ways of naming an angle; and
c. synthesize angle in real life objects.
II. Subject Matter
Topic: Classification of Angles
Reference: Mathematics 7 Learner's Module
Materials: Cartolina, Laptop, Work Sheet and TV
Values: Appreciation & Cooperation
III. Procedure/Methodology A. Preliminary Activities
Prayer
Greetings
Checking of Attendance
Classroom Rules
Review (Subset of Line)
The Teacher will ask the students about
their past lesson
Motivation
The teacher will show students an object and

A. Lesson Proper
1. Activity
“THINK IT! FILL IT!!”
The teacher will divide the class into three
groups. Each group will be given a picture of
an angle with its corresponding measurement,
and the group will choose their representative
to paste it.
2. Analysis
The teacher will ask the following questions:
1. What have you observed in our activity?
2. How did you identify where the figure should
be placed?
3. What would be our topic for today?
3. Abstraction
ANGLE
An angle is formed by two nonlinear rays with a
common endpoint. The symbol for angle is ∠
4. Application
“Figure it Out”
- In the same group, the teacher will give each group
a worksheet and let them answer it for 5 minutes.
