This assignment consists of one essay question:

Question: 750 words (+/-10%)

Write an essay on the following topic:

The rapid developments in Artificial Intelligence have been largely detrimental


to both the educational and business sectors. To what extent do you agree or
disagree with this statement?

You need to:


- support your ideas with references from academic sources.
- provide in-text citations and a final reference list using Harvard Referencing Style.
- paraphrase, summarise and/or synthesize sources rather than quoting.
- use AT LEAST 4 sources in total:

 at least 3 sources found independently

N.B. All sources must be in the English language.


All academic evidence must be sourced from academic journals.

You will be assessed on:

• Content & Critical thinking– the ability to construct a critical argument with a
range of relevant ideas.

• Writing structure – the ability to structure coherent and cohesive paragraphs.

• Selecting supporting material – the ability to choose relevant and


appropriate academic sources.

• Using sources – the ability to paraphrase, summarise and/or synthesize with


accurate in-text citations and formulate a final reference list.

Written Work Submission Guidelines

• The essay must be typed.


• Font size must be Arial 12 with double spacing.
• Each page should be numbered.
• Only Word OR PDF files are accepted. Submission in any other format
will result in a 0/20 grade for this assignment. (Blackboard is not
equipped to process any other formats. You must convert a PAGES
document into Word or PDF before submitting).
• We recommend you keep an electronic back-up of your submitted
work.
• Please fill in/include the provided Coursework Submission cover sheet
with your assignment and sign the required Academic Honesty
Statement.

Please ensure that this assignment is written in Formal Academic English.

Submission deadline:

By Friday, the 10th of November 2023 before 7 PM (Paris, Turin), 6 PM (London).
