CrestCom 3 Loadbank Comms Utility – Release 1.

The Crestchic CrestCom 3 software has been updated to Release 1.20. This software is used to
provide HHT100 emulation and loadbank firmware-upload capabilities using a Microsoft Windows®
based PC or LC60 controller. This release supersedes the previous version, Release 1.10, which was
introduced in April 2018.

Release Notes

This new release of the software includes the following features and modifications:

• Implements the ability to download the Internal Log from a compatible loadbank without
the need to access the loadbank’s control system modules. Previously this was only
possible by changing the rotary switch on the Solar processor. Note, this feature requires
the loadbank to be running EclipseC55 edition 158, or later.

• Adds the ability to access that same Internal Log download functionality when CrestCom 3
is operating in tablet mode.

• Introduces an Internal Log Viewer so the downloaded log file can be viewed on-screen.

• Updates several of the dialog boxes to provide additional visual enhancements.

• Modifies some of the descriptive text in the Options menu item to make the option’s effect
clearer.

• Includes details for providing feedback on CrestCom 3.

• Incorporates the latest versions of the function libraries.

CrestCom 3 Loadbank Communications Utility – Release 1.20 Software Update Information

Compatibility

Release 1.20 of the CrestCom 3 software is designed for use on devices running the Microsoft
Windows® operating system on an Intel/AMD-architecture processor platform. CrestCom 3 is
therefore fully compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows® 7, 8 and 10.

Upgrade Information

To update an existing release of CrestCom 3 currently resident on a standard Windows® PC or


laptop computer, or a Crestchic LC60 controller, simply run the installation program and follow the on-
screen instructions.
