Where it is
I would like to talk about Tao Dan Park, which is a beautiful and iconic park in the
heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Known as the "green pulmonary of the city," the park is a
favorite hangout for both locals and tourists.
I often visit Tao Dan Park with my friend on weekends to refresh myself after long
hours of working and studying. We usually sit on benches and chat about our daily lives or
read our favorite books while enjoying the fresh air.
The park is a charming place; there are various species of trees, flowers, and shrubs
that provide a serene and refreshing environment. It is a fantastic escape from the concrete
jungle of the city.
Additionally, Tao Dan Park is a popular spot for morning exercise and physical
activities. Many locals come here to practice Tai Chi, yoga, or engage in group aerobics.
It's fascinating to see people of all ages and backgrounds coming together to prioritize their
health and well-being.
Overall, Tao Dan Park is a delightful oasis in Ho Chi Minh City. Whether you
want to relax, exercise, or simply appreciate the beauty of the surroundings, Tao Dan Park
has something for everyone. The park serves as a perfect escape from the bustling city life
and offers a peaceful retreat right in this city.
Where it is
When it comes to an attractive place in Vietnam, Da Lat City is one location that
has always captivated me. Nestled in the Central Highlands, Da Lat is renowned for its
stunning natural beauty, pleasant climate, and unique charm.
I have visited this city twice, once with my friends during our summer vacation a
few years ago and again at a neurology seminar last year.
The picturesque landscapes of Da Lat are what draw me in. The city is surrounded
by rolling hills, lush pine forests, and serene lakes, making it a haven for
nature enthusiasts. Its temperate climate, which has earned it the moniker "City of Eternal
Spring," is a welcome diversion from the oppressive heat of many Vietnamese cities.
Moreover, Da Lat is famous for its French colonial architecture, which can be seen
in prominent structures like the Linh Phuoc Pagoda and the Da Lat Railway Station, both
of which have elaborate mosaic decorations.
5. Describe a public facility that has been renovated and improved in your
area.
Tao Dan Park is one prominent public space in Ho Chi Minh City that has received
significant renovation and enhancement. Known as the "green pulmonary of the city," the
park is a favorite hangout for both locals and tourists. It underwent improvement not too
long ago; I think the work was finished by mid-2023.
Originally, Tao Dan Park was already a charming place, known for its lush
greenery and serene atmosphere. However, the renovation took it to another level. They
upgraded the walking paths, making them more accessible, especially for people with
disabilities. The children's play area was also totally renovated, featuring safer and more
contemporary equipment. They also updated the park's lighting with more energy-efficient
fixtures and established extra seating.
Personally, I am feeling really good about these changes. When I was a medical
student, I used to visit the park on weekends to refresh myself after long hours of studying
and exams. The renovation has not only enhanced the beauty and utility of the park but
also made it a more inclusive space. It is great to see the city investing in projects that
improve the quality of life for its residents and also attract tourists.
The park now serves as a perfect escape from the bustling city life and offers a
peaceful retreat right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
One of the most unconventional holidays I have ever had was a spontaneous trip
to Ly Son Island, a neglected island in the center of Vietnam. It was a few years ago during
the summer when my friend and I decided to visit the island for the last days of our
vacation.
What was unusual about this trip was that we didn't have any plans. We heard
about the island vacation from someone we chatted with and decided to go without any
preparation. At that time, I was relaxing in my parent's house in Quang Nam Province,
while my friend was in Quang Ngai Province, which was next to my hometown. We agreed
to meet at Dung Quat Harbor to take a ferry to the island.
When we arrived on the island, I overcame a vertigo attack due to travel sickness
and enjoyed the scenery and fresh sea air. We had many memorable activities, including
diving, watching the sunrise, and camping on the beach. The most memorable part was the
hospitality of the local people. They treated us to the most delicious and special food on
the island.
The simplicity and beauty of rural Vietnam, combined with the warmth of the local
people and our unique camping experience, made it an unforgettable journey.

The sun is shining, and the waves are crashing in the background. We are all
wearing beach clothes, shorts and T-shirts, and are all so happy and relaxed. Lan, my best
friend, has her arm around me, and she looks more beautiful than ever. Linh and Minh are
standing close, laughing, and playing in the sand.
I find myself revisiting this photo quite often, especially when I need a mood boost.
The happiness and camaraderie captured in that snapshot are simply contagious. It's a
reminder of the beauty in the simplicity of life's pleasures.
What makes me happiest about this photo is the genuine joy on our faces, the
warmth of friendship, and the beauty of nature harmoniously coexisting. This photo is a
testament to the power of friendship and the little moments that make life beautiful.

Today, I would like to talk about Ho Thi Ki Flower Market, which is the most
famous flower street market in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
The market has been renowned as the paradise of flowers, where numerous sources
of flowers are supplied for retail vendors, and as a famous destination for both locals and
tourists.
I still vividly remember the first moment I entered the market, as we were
immediately overwhelmed with rows of colorful flowers stretching along the narrow
shopping aisles. Whenever I need to buy flowers, this place immediately appears in my
mind because of its diverse flowers and reasonable costs. There were white daisies, pink
cherry blossoms, scarlet roses, yellow sunflowers, and other decorative leaves all sold at
relatively affordable prices. You can find either bunches of various flowers to satisfy your
flower-arranging hobby or a skillfully wrapped bouquet to give to someone else.
The entire experience was not just about buying an item; it was a sensory journey.
The vibrant colors, the scents from plenty of species of flowers, and the melodic chatter of
buyers and sellers created a rich tapestry of sensations.
