Checklist For Narrative

This document provides a checklist for writers to consider before and during narrative and descriptive writing. It prompts writers to think about the length, purpose and intended audience of the writing task. It also suggests focusing on structure and grammar like having a thesis, outline, topic sentences and supporting details in each paragraph. Writers should maintain consistency in verb tense and point of view. The checklist also asks writers to use vivid language, sensory details, specific names and showing rather than telling when describing subjects or narrating stories.
