a. Common Monomial Factor: ax + ay = a (x + y)


b. Difference of Two Squares: x2 – y2 = (x + y) (x – y)
c. Sum of Two Cubes: x3 + y3 = (x + y) (x2 – xy + y2)
d. Difference Of Two Cubes: x3 – y3 = (x – y) (x2 + xy + y2)
e. Perfect Square Trinomials: x2 + 2xy + y2 = (x + y)2
