Multiplication of Fractions

_a_ . _c_ ‗ ac
b d bd
Rule:

To multiply a fraction by one or more fractions:

1. Factor all the terms of the fractions which are factorable.

2. Divide the terms of the fractions by the common factor.
3. The product is equal to the products of all the remaining factors in the
numerators divided by the product of the remaining fractions in the
denominators.
