Fourth Convocation Ceremony

Instructions to Candidates, Parents & Invitees

A. General instructions:
1. Convocation is a highly dignified and formal ceremony with defined protocols.
Everyone participating requires to observe complete decorum.
2. Graduating candidates, their parents and invitees only are allowed to attend convocation
ceremony. No children or other guests are permitted.
3. All to be seated in the concerned convocation venue latest by 8:15 AM. Late entries
not to be permitted. Right of admission reserved.
4. All to refrain from leaving the Convocation venue from time of being seated until
Convocation procession leaves the convocation venue.
5. No cross talks or movements are allowed inside the convocation venue during the
convocation ceremony.
6. All to keep cell phones in silent / switch off mode and to refrain from speaking on the
phone.
7. All to follow the instructions of comparer and faculty members in the Convocation
venue.
8. Vehicles to be parked in the assigned parking area only.
9. Photography is strictly prohibited during the convocation ceremony. Only University
assigned professional photographers will take the photographs during the Convocation.
Photographs by professional photographer will be made available post convocation.
10. Entire ceremony is projected to last for around three hours. Please join the ceremony
with this readiness. Movement during the convocation ceremony will not be allowed.
11. Seating arrangement committee member and volunteers will be available nearby at the
venue. Please contact them for any concerns and also cooperate with them.

B. Graduating Candidates:

1. Convocation Ceremony Dress for Boys: University will provide the Kurta (White
color). You have to come up with matching PYJAMA for maintaining the code of
conduct of the Convocation Ceremony function.

Convocation Ceremony Dress for Girls: University will provide the Kurta (White
color). You have to come up with matching SALWAR/CHUDIDAR for maintaining
the code of conduct of the Convocation Ceremony function.

2. Graduating candidates participating on-campus will report for registration on venue as


per following table latest by 7.30 AM on 20/1/2024.

3. At the time of registration, you will be given the Convocation Stole, seating pass,
Convocation procedure / instructions and the oath. Please retain all the material till the
end of the convocation ceremony.
4. To carefully go through the instructions of the Convocation procedure given at time of
registration and to strictly follow the same.
5. Each graduating candidate participating in the Convocation ceremony will have a
specific seating location in the convocation hall. You are requested to be seated only
on the assigned location.

C. Parents
1. Only parents of graduating candidates who are registered are permitted to attend at
respective convocation Venue. No other family members, guests or children are
permitted.

D. Invitees
1. Invites are requested to have seated in the respective place latest by 08:15 AM.
2. Kindly avoid bringing guests /children.
3. Kindly remain seated till the end of the Convocation.

The University extends heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all graduating candidates
and look forward to a responsible and disciplined behavior during the entire function.
