Warm-up Activity (10 minutes)
Icebreaker: “Pass the Globe”
Pass a globe or a world map
while playing music. When the
music stops, the person holding
the globe or map shares a
thought about global peace.
Repeat until everyone has
shared.
C. ANALYSIS
Concept Exploration (20 minutes)

Mini – Lecture:
 Provide an overview of the
concept of global peace and
security. Discuss historical and
current challenges and
successes.

Group Activity: “Security Council Simulation’


Divide students into small groups and assign each group a region or country.
Ask them to discuss and propose solutions to a hypothetical global security
issue. Each group represents a country on the Security Council.

Have each group present their proposed solutions, emphasizing the


importance of cooperation and compromise.

D. ABSTRACTION
Guided Reflection (15 minutes)
In what ways can global cooperation contribute to lasting peace and
security? How can individuals promote global peace in their daily lives?
(Allow students time to write and share their reflections if they wish.)

Additional Notes:
 Emphasize the role of the international organizations like the United
Nations in promoting global peace.
 Encourage critical thinking about the complexities of global security
issues.
 Relate the simulation of real-world examples of international
cooperation for peace.

E. APPLICATION
Sharing is Caring (15 minutes)
“How can you, as an individual, contribute to promoting peace security
globally?”

(Allow students time to write and share their reflections if they wish.)
