It is the type of E-commerce with 2 categories (i)B2B & (ii)B2C online shopping)

• In short, All marketing activities done on modern digital channels.
• Online marketing relies upon websites or emails to reach to the users and it is combined with e-
commerce to facilitate the business transactions.
• In online marketing, you can promote the products and services via websites, blogs, email, social
media, forums, and mobile Apps.

Things happen fast on the internet and if you want to stay competitive you need to keep up with the latest trends. This
is specially true for marketing. The barriers are lower than physical markets.

advertising a little more difficult than on a normal commercial websites.

free and relatively easy to maintain. They are a great way to put your information out there in a way that is more
casual and seeming more personal than traditional advertising.
E-Branding- Brand building through Electronic channels. Business have now started the potential of electronic means
for building brand awareness. E-branding simply means using electronic channels to support brands.
Innovative Marketing- A principle of enlightened marketing that requires that a company seek real product and

Value Marketing- It says that a company should put most of its resources into value building marketing investments.
Societal Marketing- A principle of enlightened marketing that holds that a company should make marketing decisions
by considering consumers want, the company’s requirement, consumer’s long term interests and society’s long
run investment.
Viral Marketing/ Marketing Buzz- A method of marketing whereby consumers are encouraged to share information
about a company’s goods and services via internet like Buzz Marketing.
Multi-level Marketing- When some direct sales companies use to encourage their existing distributors by paying the
existing distributors a percentage of their recruiters sales.
