 Introduction
In the realm of microprocessor systems, the Mini Calculator
Microproject stands as a fundamental yet significant undertaking. This project
revolves around the development of a compact and efficient calculator
implemented on a microprocessor platform. With a focus on essential arithmetic
operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, this
microproject encapsulates the essence of microprocessor programming,
algorithmic design, and digital logic.
The primary objective of this microproject is to design and implement
a functional calculator that can perform basic arithmetic operations swiftly and
accurately. Leveraging the capabilities of a microprocessor, the calculator will
be able to process user input, execute arithmetic operations, and display results
in a user-friendly manner. The project aims to demonstrate the practical
application of microprocessor concepts in real-world scenarios, emphasizing the
importance of computational efficiency and algorithm optimization.

Aim of Micro-Project:

This micro project aims at-

1. Introduction to 8086 Assembly Language Programming
2. Creating a program of displaying Addition, Subtraction, Division,
Multiplication based on system, retrieval procedures
3. Understanding the logic and ideas
4. Imagination skills

Its objective is to-

1. Introduce 8086 Assembly Language Programming
2. Introduce date and time procedures
3. Perform system related operations
4. Make an advance way to solve the problem

Actual Methodology Followed:

Algorithm
1. input 2 numbers from the user (no need to check the integrity of the input)
2. Subtraction and ADD action between the 2 numbers

3. divide action between the 2 numbers

4. multiplication action between the 2 numbers

5. print the result on the screen in DECIMAL or BINARY or HEXA depending on

choice
how it works: the program will first get a key press and will act on that choice

'0' - input 2 numbers

'1' - ADD action

'2' – Substantiation

‘3’- Multiplication

'4' – divide

'5' – print

D - print in decima

H – print in hex

B – print in binary

O – Exit program

the Assembly Programming Language but also different
methods of solving a problem. We have understood the core of
system related operations, getting value and passing to
variable, shifting of data, registering, etc
