ADVICE/ INSTRUCTIONS
Doctor's Advice Avoid, cold items, dust, smoke, pollution and spicy items, refrigerated items
Dietary Management Guidelines for COVID-19 Patients * Have some Hot
beverages once in every 2hours * Add ginger and cinnamon to decoction-- have
at least twice a day * Have one boiled egg a day - in breakfast or lunch (avoid
having at dinner) * Do not have non-veg for at least 2weeks. Instead can have
Paneer, Tofu, Meal Maker * Have dry fruits or nuts twice a day {Qty- 4-5pcs max}
* Do not have Pine-apple, Custard apple and bananas All Other fruits can be
taken if they are not refrigerated. Try having at least one fruit a day. *. Do not
have curd or butter milk if it is refrigerated or sour. * Avoid all the foods that
contain preservatives or which are stored for longer duration of time * Have
more of liquids * Do not have anything that is refrigerated. * If DIABETIC- avoid
fruits like - Grapes, Mango, sapota too... And vegetables like Potato, Colocasia
and yam., In breakfast avoid having coconut and groundnut chutney * Have
kadha at least once a day. (Dhaniya, Jeera, Ajwain, Cinnamon, turmeric, kalonji,
black pepper--- Dry roast and powder all the ingredients and mix and store in a
dry-air tight jar. Add 1/2 tea spoon of powder to one glass of warm water and
have.) {In case of using Anticoagulant medication-Avoid having – all types of
green leafy veggies, all types of beans, cabbage, cauliflower, pumpkin,
drumstick, peas, soya beans, sesame seeds.
Home isolation, and monitor vitals
Home quarantine for 7days from positive test date .
Monitor oxygen levels,if less than 92 , contact nearest hospital/clinic.
Plenty oral fluids, 3 to 4 litres per day. Salt water gargling twice daily.
