Instructions for Applicants:
1. For assistance in filling of the form please call 091-9218051 or email at [email protected]
2. Please go through the Eligibility Criteria (given below) and the Project Brief before applying for the
Grant.
3. You will receive a registration number from MIS.
4. Please keep the Auto generated number for future reference.
5. Submission of Application does not make the Project liable to process the case or award a grant.
6. Providing false information or using any unfair means/references may lead to rejection of
application and legal proceedings.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
 Permanent resident of settled districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and willing to do business.
 First-come-first-served rule shall be adopted against the district wise allocated seats.
 Skilled workers/having potential business ideas within the age group of 20 – 45 years.
 Having technical/professional qualification/experience from any recognized institute/board/
authority/cluster (not less than six months duration).
 Having at least one year of hands-on training experience in the proposed area in the public or
private sector.
 Having a business attitude and market awareness about the proposed sector.
 Undertaking regarding not availing any other financial assistants from government / donor
agencies / not a government servant or regular student.
 Applicant business is not on the official negative list (arms and ammunition, explosives, radioactive
substances, security printing, alcoholic beverages, etc.)

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH STARTUP APPLICATION

1. Three photocopies of National Identity Card duly attested by Government Officer or concerned
District Nazim/Tehsil Nazim Hand Written application on letter head.
2. Attested copies of educational certificates/professional certificates of applicant.
3. Skilled workers/having potential business idea within the age group of 20 – 45 years.
4. Having business plan on prescribed format.
5. Undertaking regarding not availing any other financial assistants from government / donor agencies /
not a government servant or regular student.
6. Any other document that the applicant may submit in support of this application.

General Instructions:
 This advertisement is not for newly merged districts (Erstwhile FATA).
 Availability of online Application through the online web portal egjc.kp.gov.pk w.e.f 1st
November, 2021 to 30th November, 2021 upto 5:00 P.M. Applications in the hard form and
incomplete will not be accepted.
 Those SMEs/Applicants who have already availed grants/interest-free loans from other Federal
& Provincial Governments and donor agencies schemes will not be eligible.
 General trading and other sectors that are not eligible for any grant or support include
businesses on the official negative list (for private investment) such as arms and ammunition,
explosives, radioactive substances, security printing and alcoholic beverages etc.
 Bank defaulters SMEs/Applicant will not be eligible for availing the grant facility.
 Project brief, detail of district wise allocated seats, potential sectors, business template and
other guidelines may be downloaded from online web portal egjc.kp.gov.pk.
