This document contains two tasks related to disaster risk factors and preparedness. Task 1 identifies risk factors that underlie different disaster situations, such as climate change, environmental degradation, poorly planned urban development, poverty, and weak governance. Task 2 provides guidance for a speech on disaster preparedness for youth. The suggested speech introduces the importance of awareness and preparedness, discusses three main types of disaster risk factors and examples of each, emphasizes the importance of youth action, and encourages questions from the audience. The goal is to equip young people with knowledge on risk factors and empower them to get involved in building community resilience.
