PROJECT: PROPOSED ONE STOREY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

LOCATION: PUROK 10, LOWER IPUAN, POBLACION, PRESIDENT ROXAS NORTH COTABATO

OWNER: MR. FRANCISCO UGAY

CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATION

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

To maximize the skill and meaning of the designs and these specifications, all building
components must be completed to the complete satisfaction of the project engineer and owners.

Each of the requirements of the National Building Code and the municipal laws and ordinances
of President Roxas, North Cotabato, must be followed throughout construction.

CLEARING THE SITE:

The construction site needs to be leveled in accordance with the designs and free of debris,
roots, and other combustible and perishable materials to a sufficient subgrade.

When excavation begins, all such inappropriate items must be taken off the construction site and
scattered evenly. If the responsible engineer decides, they may also be disposed of as needed.

STAKING OUT LINE:

Before beginning any excavation, all lines and grades on the design must be created and the lines
must be carefully cut. Reference marks and batter boards must be placed at a location that won't be
disturbed while the structure is excavated.

EXCAVATION:

If the site has any form of fill, all excavation must be done to the grade shown on the picture. If
the soil is deeper than the strata for sale carrying capability, then more excavation is needed for the
footing. In order to ensure that the surrounding soil particles are not disturbed or removed, water that is
encountered during the exaction process must be eliminated by bailing or pumping.

BACKFILLS:

The material taken out of the excavation will be utilized to backfill around the foundation once
the concrete has hardened sufficiently to handle the pressure created by the fills. Backfill must be
applied in layers no thicker than 150 mm (6 in.), and layers must be well compacted using rolling and
wetting tamping.

FORIS FOR CONCRETE WORKS:

To maintain the concrete section and member shapes, all forms for concrete works must be
correctly traced or linked together. The forms must be built tightly enough to avoid bulging and water
seepage. Forms can't be removed once the concrete has strengthened enough to sustain any weight or
loads. Top forms may be removed before bottom forms, but extra posts or shoring must be positioned
beneath the beams until the beams have strengthened.

CONCRETE SLABS OR FILL:

On the gravel bed, a concrete slab on fill that is at least 120 mm thick must be poured. More
than one meter must separate each coarse concrete slab to be hammered, and each coarse must be
poured alternately to the designated floor finish.

STEEL REINFORCING BARS:

To build up the connection between the concrete and the steel, all steel reinforcing bars to be
utilized in this construction must be round, deformed bars with lugs or extension on their sides.

Each steel reinforcing bar must be correctly located and tied together at each bar junction using
gauge #16 tie wire to prevent movement.

The footing-specific steel reinforcing bar. Columns, slabs, beams, and other concrete
components must all match the measurements, number, and spacing specified in the steel
reinforcement schedule or the design.
If a metal reinforcement has any rust, scaling, or other coatings which could weaken or damage
the link with the concrete, it cannot be put.

CONCRETE HOLLOWBLOCKS:

For walls, concrete hollow blocks must be 5" x 10" x 15" in size and have a thickness of 12 mm

Concrete hollow blocks with a diameter of 10 mm and cells filled with cement (four parts sand
by volume) must be placed and reinforced with circular deformed bars spaced no more than 60 m apart
on cement surfaces in both directions.

CONCRETE WORKS:

Before placing any concrete in its ultimate location, it must be well mixed to ensure that the
cement and aggregates are distributed evenly. Care must be given to prevent aggregate segregation.

Use of harmful levels of acids, alkalis, salt, and other organic elements in water for concrete mixing is
prohibited.

PROPORTIONING OF CONCRETE:

The government's standard specifications for plain and reinforce concrete must be followed in all
concrete projects, and Portland cement must be utilized.

The following proportion of concrete mixture shall be used for the various parts of the building

 Columns Footings and Beams ----------------------------------------------------Class A(:2:4)

 Wall footing ----------------------------------------------------------------------------Class B(1:25:5)
 Concrete ground foot slab or fill --------------------------------------------------Class C(L:3:6)
 Cement mortar or filler--------------------------------------------------------------Class B(L:3)

Class A concrete shall be mixtures of 1-part cement, 2-parts fine aggregates, and 4-parts course
aggregates by volume, plus enough clean water to make the mixtures into a pliable paste.

Class B concrete shall be a mixtures of 1-part cement, 2.5 parts fine aggregates, and 5-
partscourse aggregates by volume, plus enough clean water to make the mixtures into a pliable paste.

Class C concrete shall be a mixtures of 1-partcement, 3 parts fine aggregates, and 6-parts course
aggregates ty volume plus enough clean water to make the mixtures into a pliable paste

Class B concrete for mortar and filler shall be a mixtures of 1-part cement, 3-parts fine
aggregates by volume, plus enough clean water to make the mixtures into a pliable paste.

Natural and insert materials with comparable qualities, such as tree from organic master or
loam, with clean, firm, and long-lasting grins, are required for the fine aggregates in concrete.

Crushed rocks with strong, long-lasting characteristics or clean, firm gravel must be used as
course aggregates in concrete. The size of the course aggregates to be utilized should range from 30 to
60 mm.

TRUSS WORKS:

TOP CORD 2X3X4M 1.2 mm RECTANGULLAR TUBE

BOTTOM CORD 2X3X4M 1.2 mm RECTANGULLAR TUBE
WEB MEMBERS 2X3X4M 1.2 mm RECTANGULLAR TUBE
RAFFERS 2X3X 1.2 mm C-PURLINS

ROOFINGS:

The roofing panels shall be 0.50mm the Pre-painted Long Span Corr. G1. Sheet

PLUMBING WORKS:
Under the direct supervision and management of a certified sanitary engineer or master
plumber, all plumbing work for this project must be completed in compliance with the authorized
designs.

The rational plumbing code, as well as any local laws and regulations, must be followed by plumbing
installations.

ELECTRICAL WORKS:

Under the direct supervision and management of a professional electrical engineer or master
electrician, the electrical installation must follow the authorized designs.

The latest version of the Philippine Electrical Code or the National Electrical Code should be
followed for all electrical operations and materials.

All electrical wiring must be installed using coil-able PVC conduit fittings and accessories that
meet ISO specifications.

The building must have single-phase, 230 V AC electrical services provided to it. The service drop
cable that connects the closest electricity company pole to the building proposal. Light and electricity
electrical lines cannot be any smaller than 3.0 m sq. insulation for 600 volts (no. 14).

A PVC pipe that is empty should be supplied for the first circuit. Every wire has to be recognized,
including the grounding wire, and color-coded for convenience. And there must be a circuit directory on
the panel board.

MECHANICAL WORKS:

Under the direct supervision and management of a professional mechanical engineer, all
mechanical work for this project must be completed in compliance with the authorized designs. The
national mechanical code's provisions and the locality's imposed laws and regulations must be followed
by mechanical installations.
