Lets have a look at some Desktop Properties
Right Click to any blank part of desktop from your mouse or press functional
key from you keyboard you will get.

1. View
View option is referred as how our desktop should look like How can
icons be seen, small, large, medium, or if there is any miss-arrangements
in icons so the icons can be arranged accordingly and if a user wants to
hide all icons from desktop, then this option is helpful.
1. Large icons: This will turn desktop icons into large ones.
2. Medium icons: This will turn desktop icons into medium ones.
3. Small icons: This option will turn desktop icons into small ones.
5. Align icons to grid: Auto arranging icons often aligns them to a grid on the
desktop. This ensures that icons are evenly spaced and neatly organized.

6. Show Desktop icons: On Windows, the "Show Desktop Icons" option allows
you to quickly hide or display icons on your desktop.
2. Sort option
1. Sort by Name: By applying the sort by name option all the icons will be
arranged in alphabetical order.
2. Sort by Size: Sort by size option referred as all the icons placed on
desktop will be sorted on behalf of their size. The icon with least size
will remain on top and this ordering will be continued.
3. Sort by item Type: This option refers as the app having higher priority
will remain on top and app with lowest priority will remain on bottom.
4. Sort by Date modified: This option refers as the app installed recently
will have the top spot and those installed earlier will have positions
accordingly.

3. Refresh Refresh options helps us to refresh the computer, Computer
performs multiple instructions at a time, so it gets junked with storage, and it
needs to be refreshed to perform tasks more easily, so this refresh options
helps us to refresh the computer.
4. New Option
New options are used to create new files, folders, and Shortcuts. Files can
be document, can be an image file, database files, archive files.

including themes, colors, and sounds.

Taskbar Properties
The taskbar in Windows is a central component of the user interface,
providing quick access to various features and allowing users to manage
running applications, access the Start menu, and monitor system status.
Here are the key elements and functions of the taskbar in Windows:
1. Start Button:
- Located at the leftmost corner of the taskbar.
- Clicking the Start button opens the Start menu, providing access to
installed applications, settings, and features.
2. Taskbar Icons:
- Icons for currently open or pinned applications appear on the taskbar.
- You can pin frequently used applications for quick access.

5. Quick Launch Area:
- Allows users to pin shortcuts for easy access.
- Right-clicking on an empty space in the taskbar and choosing "Toolbars"
"New toolbar" lets you create a quick launch area.
7. Search Box:
- Allows users to search for files, applications, and settings directly from the
taskbar.
- Integrates with Cortana, Microsoft's virtual assistant.

- Accessible through the Settings app or by right-clicking on the taskbar and
selecting "Taskbar settings."
- Allows users to customize taskbar behavior, appearance, and notification
settings.
