Fuzzy Logic Controller Based STATCOM For Voltage Profile Improvement in A Micro-Grid

This document summarizes a research paper about using a fuzzy logic controller for a STATCOM to improve the voltage profile in a microgrid system. A microgrid system with a synchronous generator supplying power to a variable load is studied. When the load changes, it causes voltage fluctuations at the load bus. III. SYSTEM MODELLING

B. Structure of Fuzzy logic Controller


The Fuzzy logic controller is used in the reactive power
control loop of STATCOM to control the peak voltage. The

V. SIMULATION RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

evaluation results and analysis it is clear that fuzzy logic 322
