Soft Starter - 02-07072015
Oferta
No. 02-07072015
Fecha 07/07/2015
Atn: Ing. Cesar Villorin /Inmaserca
This budgetary offer could be confirmed and accepted only after the calculation of the
technical feasibility of the starting of soft starter with the motor and the load.
To make these starting calculations we need:
For the load:
- The starting load torque curve VS speed
- The inertia of the load
For the motor:
- The complete Motor Data sheet
- The starting current curve of the motor VS motor speed
- The starting torque curve of the motor VS motor speed
- The Inertia of the motor

ANNEX II
IP32 Enclosure, dimensions (mm): W-1200, H-2420, D-1200 Standard colour RAL 7035
The single cabinet has 2 fully segregated compartments The MV compartment
The LV compartment
In the MV compartment:
STAT Power section with thyristors firing circuits.
Soft starter current rating will be according to motor’s starting current and starting time, while the voltage will be according to mains
voltage.
See included presentation for available voltage and current products.
By pass contactor or circuit breaker operating voltage and current will be according to motor’s voltage and current.
Power connection between soft starter and contactors can be by bus bars or cables according to contactor type and application
constraints as for example Marine ambiance.
In the LV compartment:
Each soft starter has a separated front accessible low voltage Compartment with the following components mounted on the door: Push buttons:
Emergency stop (mushroom type)
Lamp test Reset Fault
Direct on line selector (option)
Signal lights: Soft starter bypassed (green)
General Fault (red)
Auxiliary voltage alive (white) Bus bar alive
Direct on line mode (option)
Others in accordance with the selected options.

- Inverse voltage code ANSI 47
- Maxi frequency code ANSI 81H
- Mini frequency code ANSI 81L
Design :
The soft starter starts the motor by slowly ramping-up the voltage supplied to the motor while limiting the current at the requested level.
The soft starter control is based on a digital microprocessor system.
The signal interconnections to the power section are based on a high speed fiber optic link that gives a high degree of insulation and EMC immunity.
