 About GLS
Over 12 years of history, GLOBAL LOGISTICS SERVICE (GLS) has developed from a traditional international
freight forwarder to an integrated logistics services provider in container industry, and aiming to become a
fully integrated supply chain provider in the next 5 years.

2007
Company founded in Hochiminh City, Vietnam. At the beginning, GLS main business starting as the
handling agent in Vietnam for some regional shipping lines and NVOCCs.

2013 GLS expands its business by participating in domestic shipping industry and establishing GLS SHIPPING
JSC (GLSS). GLSS main business is providing container transportation in Vietnam territory by its
container vessel fleet and trucking network.

2017 GLS expands its logistics ability by acquired 37% of SAIGON SHIPPING JSC (SSC)’s share capital and
benefits from SSC business with CFS, depot and transport system together with shipping brokerage
and maritime agency services.

2019 onwards
Nowadays, GLS is a full services transportation and logistics company with container shipping liner, freight
management and contract logistics operations with 7 offices in 2 countries.
The company vision and mission is to become Vietnamese top 5 leading shipping and logistics company in
2025, with its development strategy is to investing in container terminal facilities and expanding its shipping
services to oversea terminals and countries.
