Care of the Sewing
Machine
1. The sewing machine should always be cleaned and oiled for it to
run smoothly and quietly.
2. Always close and cover the machine to protect it from dirt and dust
if not in use
3. Place a fold scrap of cloth between the presser foot, needle down
and the feed dog.
4. Place the machine beside the window, move it carefully but never
drag it around.

7. Keep the head and shoulders erect while sewing
8. Arrange the units or parts of the garments beside you so as not to
be disturbed while sewing.
