Anchor 1/2 Good morning, respected principal mam, supervisors, HOD’s and HRI’s,

and my dear titans. Today, we have gathered here

to celebrate the 77th Independence Day of India.

Anchor 1- It is a day of pride, glory, and honor for our nation. A day when we
remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and pay tribute to their courage
and valor. A day when we renew our pledge to uphold the values of democracy,
unity, and peace.

Anchor 2-Dear audience, you will discover the colors of this special occasion, Independence
Day.
Well, my first and foremost duty – On behalf of the Principal, Teaching Staff, and Students,
we welcome you all to our independence day celebration.

Anchor 1-I am (name)

Anchor 2- I am (name), your host for today’s program. It is our privilege and pleasure to
welcome you all to this auspicious occasion.

Anchor 2-Independence Day is celebrated on August 15th. It is a day to pay homage to the brave
souls who fought for our liberty, and independence and we reflect on the values and principles
that define our great nation. We stand here with a sense of pride, knowing that we are
fortunate to live in a country where freedom and democracy prevail. Independence Day is not
just a day, but it is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our forefathers and the responsibility
we have to uphold to their legacy.

Anchor 1-Today, as we embark on this auspicious occasion, we have a lineup of events that will
remind us of the significance of this day and reignite our love for our motherland. As we
commemorate this day, let us remember the words of our beloved first Prime Minister, Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru, who declared at the stroke of midnight, “At the dawn of history, India
started on her unending quest, and trackless centuries are filled with her striving and the
grandeur of her success and her failures.”

Anchor 2-Without taking much of your time, permit us to start the program.
__ do you feel some turbulence around here?

Anchor 1-Yes, I do – the heartbeats have gone up – and everyone is eager

to sink into the depth of Patriotic music, and song, that brings us all into our
Moment that always gets emotion. Well, here we are. Today, we will have a
rainbow of cultural programs prepared under the able stewardship of our
teachers and seniors for this Auspicious occasion of independence day.
Anchor 2-Dance is a beautiful form of culture and entertainment through which we can express
a lot of emotions. So let us begin this day with a wonderful dance by the
students of (x) grade to understand the diversity of our nation through their dance.”

Anchor 1-Wow! What a brilliant performance! Let us give a big round of applause to
the performers. Thank you, performers, for your wonderful performance. You have
enlightened us about the diverse culture of India. I still feel lost in those melodies
dipped in music notes. Well, lets come back now. Let us have a different ambience.

Anchor 2-OK, what is next?

Anchor 1-Now, let us get to know a little more about our nation and Independence day, and its
achievements ever since then.. For that lets invite (x) to give a wonderful speech along with a
ppt.

Anchor 2-Thank you so much (x). We have definitely got to know much more about
our country and its attainments.

Anchor 1- Do you all want to listen to a musical treat? Is it a yes or a no? Lets call
upon the students of grade 8 to sing a heart touching tune for us dedicated to the
soldiers and martyrs of our nation .

Anchor 2-That was a brilliant execution! It was a meaningful and beautiful delight to our ears.
Thank you so much.

Anchor 1-Now lets add some extra fun and spice to this event by calling upon the students of
(x) to perform a parade and enact as some of our freedom fighters who have played a important
role in our fight for freedom.

Anchor 2-Wow! A round of applause to all the students. That was indeed a great parade. Thank
you so much.

Anchor 1-Instruments can be a great source of expressing spirit and passion. So, next, we have
Zoha of grade 8 to perform and play a patriotic song on the piano for us.

Anchor 2-Marvelous! That was such a sensational and amazing performance. Thank you so much
for this show Zoha

Anchor 2-Do you know the magic of ankle bells?

Anchor 1-Magic!
Anchor 2-Yes, magic and music. Here comes a bright dance performance which is a
formation dance. It’s a formalized type of dance performance that is highly technical with
its own vocabulary.

Anchor 1- Incredible! The young dancers really held us and everyone else captive. An essay on creativity.
A firework of rapid-moving steps. Awesome!

Anchor 1-Don’t you think kids are more creative than grown-ups?

Anchor-2: How do you mean?

Anchor-1: I mean – the kids are more talented.
Anchor-2: Can you wait a moment?
Anchor-1: What is up?
Anchor-2: Surprise. Suspense. Action. Emotion.
Anchor-1: Come on, what is this puzzle?
Anchor-2: Now the students of grade 7 are going g to unleash a breathtaking stage
performance – a one-act play on (x)
