Aims: Students can tell the correct article a or an to match with the singular nouns.
Objectives: Learners should be able to:
 name focused singular nouns
 match articles a or an with singular nouns
Assessment:
 match article a/an with nouns or pictures
 match sound of nouns with article a/an
Materials: video on Youtube ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8MbH5Wwf5I), blue tac, pictures, article
cards, slides, awards.
Anticipated problems: Students don’t remember the vocabulary. Some students probably try to open their eyes
during the last game to follow their friends, so teacher needs to observe carefully.
Anticipated possibilities: Some students might know to use “an” before nouns beginning with vowel sounds but
the others do not know.
