ADVISORY for PARTICIPANTS

Activity Regional SDG Catch-Up Plan Formulation Workshop


Dates February 5-7, 2024 (Monday – Wednesday)
Venue Park Inn by Radisson, Diversion Road, Iloilo City

REGISTRATION
▪ Kindly access the link or QR code below to confirm your attendance.
▪ Registration/signing of attendance sheets starts at 9:00 AM daily.
▪ Certificates of Appearance and Participation will only be given to those who filled-out the
attendance sheet and feedback form.
▪ Representatives from the government sector are expected to be present during the 3-day
duration of the activity. Private sector invitees shall only be present on the 3rd day (February 7).

REQUIREMENTS
▪ The conduct of this activity will be highly dependent on the aid of digital technology. Participants
are required to bring laptops for the workshops and presentations.
▪ Participants are expected to have access to data or information on their organization’s SDG-
related plans, programs, projects, and activities. Ready access to these documents will allow for
efficient responses during the break-out workshops.
▪ As part of our conscious commitment to the SDGs and the Paris Agreement, we aim to reduce
our carbon footprint by printing less. We will be happy if you will opt to go paperless, too! A link
or QR code is provided below to view and submit documents related to the workshop.

ACCOMMODATION
▪ Only participants residing outside Iloilo will be provided with a two-day accommodation and
buffet breakfast on February 5 & 6, 2024. Check-in starts at 2:00 PM and make sure to check-out
before 11:00 AM on February 7, 2024. The organizers will not be responsible for extra costs
incurred by the participants. In case of medical and other emergencies, please ask assistance
from the front desk and/or the secretariat.

MEALS
▪ AM & PM snacks, and buffet lunch are provided during the full duration of the activity. Please
advise the secretariat in advance for special diet specifications.

TRANSPORTATION
▪ Participants are responsible for their own mode of transportation to and from the venue,
including the expenses.
▪ Moreover, NEDA promotes sustainable transport as part of our commitment to the SDGs. Safe
bike parking facilities are available in various locations of the mall complex for those who will use
their bicycles.

WORKSHOP MANAGEMENT
▪ The indicative program and the composition of break-out groups are attached to this advisory for
your reference.
▪ During discussions, please make sure that queries and statements are straight to the point and
are briefly but concisely stated to ensure that we work within our allotted schedules. The use of
gender-sensitive language is encouraged.
▪ Your substantial participation is highly encouraged. Kindly maintain focus during the over-all
conduct of the activity and refrain from working on activities not related to the workshop.
Personal errands shall be done outside of the workshop schedules.
