METHODOLOGY

Research Design

For our research the design that we use is a correlational method to know the

resemblance of websites in computer literacy. Correlation is the process of establishing a

relationship or connection between two or more measures. Which indicates that the

design we used is accurate for our research topic. In this case it will be easy for us to

know the connection between websites and computer literacy.

Respondents

The respondents are the students from Lucrecia R. Kasilag Senior High School.

Sampling Procedure

Our research date will be based on the Simple Random Sampling. In statistics, a

simple random sample is a subset of individuals chosen from a larger set in which a

subset of individuals are chosen randomly, all with the same probability. In srs, each

subset of k individuals has the same probability of being chosen for the sample as any

other subset of k individuals.

Research Instruments

Survey research encompasses any measurement procedures that involve asking

questions of respondents. The types of surveys can vary on the span of time used to

conduct the study. They can be comprised of cross-sectional surveys and/or longitudinal

surveys. Types of questions asked.

Guided Response Type: Recall-type questions asking the participant to recall a set

of categories. Multiple-choice or multiple response questions.

•Valid and reliable

•Based on a conceptual framework, or the researcher’s understanding of how the

particular variables in the study connect with each other.

•Must gather data suitable for and relevant to the research topic.

• Able to test hypothesis and/or answer proposed research questions under

investigation.

Construction and Validation of the Instrument

It was constructed by the researcher based on the information needed by the

researcher. The content of the profile was presented to the teacher for comments and

suggestions. The researchers used the method of Survey Research to gather more relevant

and accurate information in order to establish this research clearly.

The researcher describe below the steps in the creation and validation of

instruments, the entire process being useful for all the researchers. In order to identify

these steps, it is necessary to review furthermore the literature on the analysis of the

creation and validation of research instruments. Although there are many variations of

this process of creation and validation of research instruments, however it can be

represented in the following major steps:

● Determining the purpose, the specific objectives, the target group, the

conceptual/theoretical model;

● Review of literature, identifying instruments and using the existing tools and

instruments.

● Generating the instrument and the development of the support materials.

● Conducting content validation with the subsequences of the instrument. The

contrast results among different experienced groups and the random values sustained its

reliability.
