GRAMMAR 1: Warm up: Teacher introduces the new unit writing on the board some Saturday 1
VOCABULARY questions about the new unit. Where do you live? What is it like? What do you And

SPEAKING 2- Vocabulary preview: Teacher asks SS what words do they know about
READING COMPREHENSION workplace or study place. Then SS will match words in bold with their
WRITING definitions. , Finally T and Ss will check the answers.
3 Listening task 1: Global listening: pre: Teacher ask Ss some questions
before listening. What kind of office would you prefer to work in? why?
During: SS are going listen to a conversation about work space, they will
complete a chart writing advantages and disadvantages of open office space
and closed office space. Close listening: Ss will listen again and they will look
for details writing open or closed, Post: Tand SS will check the answers.

4-Listening task 2.Global listening :pre: Teacher asks Ss what kind of


common features ( facilities) do big cities have? During : SS are going to
listen to a lecture about urban sprawl and they will circle the correct words
that are in bold. Close listening: SS will listen to the lecture again and they
will answer questions based on the lecture. post: T and Ss will check the
answers.

5-Grammar focus: First Teacher introduces tag questions orally , then he


writes written examples using an index card . he explains the function and
clarifies the examples from the book, then Ss are going to find a mistake in
each sentence and correct it. Finally SS will take turn asking and answering
tag questions.( Pairwork)

6- Vocabulary skill : first Teacher introduces written examples of


synonyms and antonyms. He explains the meaning .then Ss will complete a
chart using them. Later they will correct a paragraph with the most
appropriate synonym and antonym. Finally Teacher and SS will check the
answers
7-speaking Task 1 SS are going to perform pending oral presentations ,
they will use power point presentations.( First Saturday )

8-speaking task 2: Ss are going to take their second oral interview , teacher
provides them a digital copy .( second Saturday )

9- listening task 2: SS will take a listening quiz created by the teacher.

REINFORCEMENT / HOMEWORK
SS will perform a project about community service.)( group work )

Test 1 SS will be assessed during class participation. Besides they will be evaluated through oral
