Instructions:

- Let it be as clear as possible for the student and the invigilator. The necessary material for the
examination should be stated; if the necessary the status ( compulsory or choice) question
should be stated
- Provide the attached documentation when submitting your exams ( diagrams; equations,
tables, …)

Duration of exams:

Remarks on questions quality:

- The examinations should test at least 80% of the syllabus;


- The questions could be a combination of MCQ (10-15%), short answer essay or long answer
essay;
- Mark allocation should be indicated (Bold and aligned on the right side of the page)
- The examination should test Knowledge (%), comprehension (%), application (%) or synthesis
(%)
- Figures and tables should be captioned, numbered, very visible and information on it readable.
- Drawn diagram should be bold enough to avoid blurr copies after photocopy
- Pages should be numbered e.g 1/1
- Indicate mark allocation on marking guide
- Set your exams on 70 marks and for a duration of 3 hours

File constitution for each course for the UB vetting:

- The question paper ( provided by the course master)


- The marking guide, do not forget to include mark allocation and a watermark MARKING
GUIDE( provided by the course master)
- The course outline or course progression sheet( provided by the course master)
- The logbook or record of work( provided by the HOD)
