Since network speeds, processing, and capacity needs vary, NETSCOUT offers several ISNG Certified
Software Appliance models with different interface and storage capacities. Various ISNG models
can be deployed in tandem for seamless analysis across the entire network, making it easier and
more cost-effective to monitor and gather intelligence from multiple sources, with no disruption to
business processes. Equally significant, NETSCOUT offers ISNG Certified ISNG Software Appliance
models designed for deployment in any environment, ranging from the network edge, small remote
facilities, satellite offices, and disaster recovery locations, onto the data center core.

NETSCOUT Certified Software Appliances offer 100% performance parity with NETSCOUT’s
factory-integrated ISNG hardware appliances. Additionally, NETSCOUT provides our award-winning
MasterCare annual support coverage for the Certified ISNG software and Network Interface Card
(NIC) kit, as well as the Certified InfiniStreamNG Server, resulting in single-source system support
for enterprise, cybersecurity, and service provider IT teams. Additionally, ISNG Certified Software
Appliances configured with the NETSCOUT Edge Adaptor module provide service visibility in our
Smart Edge Monitoring solution. For existing customers, our Omnis Cyber Intelligence Threat
Detection and Investigation Platform can also leverage ISNG as a cyberanalytics data source by
enabling a NETSCOUT Omnis Cyber Adaptor software license.

Certified InfiniStreamNG Software

The Certified InfiniStreamNG Software component of Certified ISNG Software Appliances is
unbundled from the underlying Certified ISNG Server. This configuration provides customers the
flexibility of a software-based approach with the performance and reliability of traditional ISNG
hardware appliances. The Certified ISNG Software component, which includes the ASI NIC, is
ordered directly from NETSCOUT.

Certified InfiniStreamNG Server

The Certified ISNG Software Appliances differ from the traditional InfiniStreamNG hardware
appliances, in that the server hardware is unbundled from the Software and ASI NIC. The
Certified ISNG Servers are offered in a variety of hardware configurations to meet a broad
range of performance and storage requirements. With guidance from NETSCOUT, customers
independently order these servers from a NETSCOUT Certified Supplier.
