KPD Power cc is an electrical contracting company specializing in


industrial and commercial work. The company was established in 1988
by Logan Naidu and has had tremendous success in its field. Since
then, KPD POWER has grown into a national organization having
worked extensively in the Eastern Cape and throughout KZN. The
company can provide a turnkey service by taking care of all power
related aspects of a project including design, electrical installation,
security and communications.

AFFILIATIONS
KPD Power is a Level 2 BEE contributor owing to its proactive affirmative action pro-
curement policy and is committed to developing its technology and personnel to trade
in the broad South African market.
KPD has a staff complement of forty and complies with BEE in the following aspects:
- The company is registered with services E-SETA
- In-house training is provided to all staff and participation in E.C.A. training seminars is
ongoing
KPD Power is a registered member of the Electrical Contractors Association (SA) and
the Electrical Contractors Board, the two main bodies which govern and regulate the
electrical industry. KPD Power has a very high rating from the Construction Industry
Development Board. The company maintains strict adherence to South African Bureau
of Standards quality standards and is also a member of the Durban Chamber of Com-
merce and Industry.
Safety is of utmost importance, not only in the construction process, but in our detailed
analysis of the customer requirement and the conceptual design, ensuring any devel-
opment is a safe environment to work in. The company has received the Excellence
Award for Outstanding Contribution towards Safety of Employees from FEM (Federated
Employers Mutual Assurance Company).
