This assessment consists of 3 parts - Part A, B and C.

All students are required to plan and deliver two (2) presentations, and then to reflect on them, to
address the requirements of this unit.

You should select two different topics for the presentations that should be related to the industry
area you are studying or job role.

Part A – Plan

You are now required to plan 2 short presentations. (7-10 minutes each).

As part of the planning and preparation for the presentation you are required to create a feedback
tool, which will allow you to collect feedback and review the effectiveness of your own presentation.
This will enable you to document changes that you will need to make to improve future presentations.

Steps:

1. Identify and confirm your presentation topics. You can confirm via email to your lecturer or speak
to them in class.
2. Complete the ‘Presentation Planning Review and Reflection Template’, provided at Appendix 1.
3. Develop your feedback form – to be distributed at the end of your presentation, to gather
feedback from the audience.
The Feedback form should include at least 5 questions which are designed to determine how
satisfied they were with the presentation, specifically how it was delivered and whether they
understood and learnt something from the presentation.

Please copy and paste the template to a new document and complete your responses. Submit in
Blackboard Assessment 2 Part A.

Part B – Deliver

Deliver each presentation to a minimum of two ‘live’ audience (your learning

group/friends/colleagues/family, simulating a business environment) at the time and date agreed
upon, following the plan you developed in Part A.

Each presentation should be 7 – 10 mins in duration. Your assessor will be looking for you to
demonstrate your ability to:

 Take control of the presentation, leading confidently and staying on track

 Speak clearly, projecting your voice so that the audience can hear
