What I Need to Know

This module discusses all about finding out how the Philippines is
geographically located with respect to its landmasses and bodies of water. The
purpose of this lesson is to expose you to the practice of developing and using
models as you explore and identify landmasses and bodies of water using map of
the world. Basic map reading and skills worksheet will help you learn in identifying
the different landmasses and bodies of water in your locality and within the country.

Your goal in this section is to learn and understand key concepts in locating
the Philippines using the landmasses and its bodies of water. You will be introduced
to a deeper definition and examples of landmasses and bodies of water which are
natural features of the Earth.

After going through this module, you are expected to demonstrate how places
on Earth maybe located using a coordinate system. (S7ES-IVa-1)

Specifically, you are also expected to:

1. identify how places on Earth maybe located through landmasses and bodies of
water;
2. locate places on Earth through landmasses and bodies of water.
