TEXT 2. Katalin from Nikla in Hungary

In Hungary breakfast is an important meal. In my family we have eggs, cheese, cold

meat, sausage, and bread. We drink tea or coffee, and fruit juice. Some men have a
small 'palinka' at breakfast time - it's a traditional Hungarian brandy. lt's very strong,
and I don't like it, especially not for breakfast.
