Cost of a tart = (12.90 – 2.70) ÷ 3 = $3.40
Cost of cake = 3.40 + 2.70 = $6.10

Price of 2nd, 3rd and 4th candy = 3 x 0.85 x 4 = $10.20
Total price = 4 + 10.20 = $14.20
