Content Standard: demonstrates understanding of mental health as a


dimension of holistic health for a healthy life

 Demonstrates various stress management techniques that one can
use everyday in dealing with stress

I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:


a. identify what stress management skills;
b. value the importance on how to manage stress in
achieving good mental health;
c. apply stress management skills in their daily lives.

II. Subject Matter: STRESS MANAGEMENT SKILLS

A. Preliminaries

 After presenting the short video the teacher will ask insights about the
video presented.

1. Describe what you have just seen in the video?
2. What are the tips that he mentioned in the video to reduce stress?
3. Do you have any idea what is our topic for today?

-Are techniques that can be used to cope with harmful effects produced by
stress.

C. Lesson Proper
c.1 Activity
 The teacher will divide the class into seven (7) groups.
 The teacher will paste first the seven (7) different ways on how to manage
stress on the board.
 Each group will guess of what ways to manage stress base on it’s
definition.

GROUP 1 - Use responsible When faced with difficult problem, relax


decision-making skills and think the best solution for it.
GROUP 2 - Rest, relax, and When you are resting, your blood
