The ‘name stands for Canadian English Language Proficency Index ‘rogram. There ae thee versions ofthe test: CELPIP-General or ‘CELPIP-G), which tests reading, stoning, speaking, and wating: CCELPIP-LS, which test istning and speaking ony; and CELPIP- ‘Academic. To score wel tis often better to use a variety of relatively simple English that i accurate and natural rather than tying to use advanced language, but using itn incorrect or unnatural ways. This is especialy true because advanced language that ‘has mistakes is more Ikely to confuse the rater, and this can havea significant effect on your overall sore. Study Tip 3 - Write about Familiar Topics ‘When deciding which ideas to write about, always try fo write about something familiar that you have previously writen (or spoken} about in English. Writing about an unfamlar top wil probably cause you to ‘ake more time writing your response, so you may not irish. You wil also probably make more mistakes.
